After studying in Japan and Germany, Taku Kuno has developed a multifaceted career combining performance, education, and artistic production.
Through Transversal Music, he creates opportunities that connect people and music across generations, cultures, and disciplines.

久納 卓（Taku Kuno）

Founder & Artistic Director, Transversal Music
日本音楽芸術振興会主催第1回日本グランドソリストコンクールピアノ部門第1位。
大阪芸術大学演奏学科を卒業し、学長賞を受賞。ドイツ国立ロストック音楽演劇大学を卒業し、演奏家ディプロムを取得。
これまでに国内外のコンクールで多数入賞し、日本各地およびヨーロッパを中心に演奏活動を展開。近年はパリを拠点の一つとして活動の幅を広げている。
CD「フリューリンクスリート」（2016年）、「ラフマニノフ楽興の時」（2017年）をリリース。
2018年まで淡路島の地方創生プロジェクトに参加し、農業と芸術を通じた地域活性事業や廃校施設の運営に携わるなど、音楽を軸とした多様な活動を行う。
現在はトランスヴァーサル・ミュージック代表として、音楽教育、演奏活動、コンサートの企画・制作を行うほか、保育園やインターナショナルスクールにて音楽教育に従事し、早期音楽教育の普及にも力を注いでいる。
First Prize winner of the 1st Japan Grand Soloist Competition (Piano Division), organized by the Japan Music Arts Foundation.
He graduated from Osaka University of Arts with the President’s Award, and later earned a Performer’s Diploma from the University of Music and Theatre Rostock in Germany.
He has received numerous awards at competitions in Japan and abroad, and has performed extensively across Japan and Europe. In recent years, he has expanded his activities with Paris as one of his artistic bases.
His recordings include Frühlingslied (2016) and Rachmaninoff: Moments Musicaux (2017).
Until 2018, he was involved in a regional revitalization project on Awaji Island, contributing to community development through agriculture and the arts, as well as managing a repurposed school facility.
Currently, as the director of Transversal Music, he is engaged in music education, performance, and concert production. He also teaches at preschools and international schools, actively promoting early childhood music education.
